Ben Ridge > Heather and I decided to volunteer for the festival, since we weren't working yet and thought it would be something different. It was pretty cruisey, we just had to make sure people didn't get outta hand at the water station. If the weather was cloudy (from time to time) it was as busy as shown.
Ben Ridge > The first morning I saved a couple hours of hiking by catching a water taxi to the other side of the lake. That's where the uphill starts, in the valley between the two mountains pictured.

Ben Ridge > Playing around with quick shutter speeds and water again. I love how you can see the reflection of the curled fern (koru) in the drop. I tried this back in 2003.
