Ben Ridge > After hanging out in Durango for a night and a day, we headed up to Crested Butte.  Before we got there we camped along a sweet creek outside of Almont, not far from CB.  Unfortunately, no fish were harmed in the making of this photo.

Ben Ridge > This camp site rocked.  My Canon SLR did some nice work of making the creek look creamy.  Luckily no flash floods came and knocked our tent away.

Ben Ridge > Bella cooling off beside some inviting cascade pools as we hike back down to our campsite.  We followed this creek down as I looked for gold in the creek, to no avail.
Ben Ridge > Looks like a moose was chomping on this pine tree, as this bare part of the tree was about 5 feet from the ground, and I know moose like to eat bark from trees.
