Ben Ridge > Bella didn't complain about the flowers and scenery.
Ben Ridge > I really like how this shot turned out. Heather was inside the tent lighting it up with her headlamp, and I had placed my headlamp beside the creek. 15 seconds later, this is how the shot ended up.
Ben Ridge > While driving back to Boulder, Colorado had a cold snap, resulting in the first snow in the mountains, causing sweet visions of snowboarding, even though I'll miss the CO winter this year.
Ben Ridge > A view of the valley that we had just hiked up from. It's pretty freakin cool to be able to see the large loop we had done at that point.
Ben Ridge > This was not long into our second day of hiking, when we crossed Bear Creek. I tried to get as long of a shutter speed as I could with this (1/4 sec), and decreased the exposure so that it wasn't too bright. Not bad for a small camera.
Ben Ridge > Heather is a tiny pocket of pixels in this photo, just to the right of the dead tree in the lower middle of the photo. You really can't see her unless you look at the original (O) version of of this photo. Needless to say, some big ole honkin mountains surrounded us.
Ben Ridge > Heather taking one last look at the view before ascending above the valley and back to Taylor Lake, and then the truck.
Ben Ridge > Bella looking satiated after hiking up the valley, with only a few more miles to go.
