Ben Ridge > Our neighbors Eugene and Anita got married, so their Indian friends gave them an Indian "Haldi" wedding ceremony. This including smearing orange tumeric all over them, as you can see. This photo is all of the people that live in our 4 unit complex, as well as the owner Arvind.

Ben Ridge > The week after the Indian Wedding ceremony, Anita and Eugene had their traditional wedding ceremony on the beach. I was the "official" photographer for the day, which was a first for me.

Ben Ridge > As you might have heard, Comet McNaught was visible in the Southern Hemisphere, one of the brightest comets here for 40 years or something like that. Although the evenings are usually cloudy here, I caught this photo of it. I'm hoping to catch another one soon.

Ben Ridge > Heather and I went backpacking in the Nelson Lakes National Park, which was even more beautiful than our already high expectations. The tiny spot in between the two lakes here is Mt. Angelus hut, where we stayed the night.

Ben Ridge > To get to the Mt. Angelus hut we had to go on the Robert Ridge route. My grandfather and dads' names are Robert Ridge, and I'm Benjamin Robert Ridge; it's like the trail was made for me.

Ben Ridge > Captured! After seeing a New Zealand falcon all the time, but it eluding my camera lens, I was finally able to get this close up shot of one, thanks to Heather pointing it out to me as we crossed over the ridge.
