Ben Ridge > One of the lethargic seals hanging out on the rocks. I finally got a chance to try out my fishing spear along these rocks, and although I didn't catch anything I definitely plan on doing it again.

Ben Ridge > Can you find the sleeping seal in this photo? They were quite tough to spot, we constantly kept sneaking up on them. They're not small animals, but luckily they could care less that we were around.

Ben Ridge > Having left cloudy Kaikoura, we headed up the mountains to Hanmer springs, where we spent some time in their hot springs and went on a few hikes. Here's the view from one of the hikes.
