Long story short: Mark Detsky visits Thailand, convinces me to come see him since it's relatively a short distance from Australia (pay no attention to that 8 hour plane flight). But I loved Thailand, so I didn't put up too big of a fight. We met up in Chang Mai, then quickly set off to the mountains outside of Pai, in order to go on a 3 day backpacking trip, among other things.
